Dennis face-to-face with his long-time idol Stephen Sondheim
(so to speak).
His first major role was as Jack in Into the Woods (1994).
Since then Dennis has done more Sondheim:
- A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (1997),
- Sweeney Todd (2000), and
- West Side Story (2003).
