Milling

The other day Q-topia featured the local sawmill. A couple weeks ago Alan sent me this photo showing him milling a white oak near the Russian river - part of the traditional boatbuilding process that he is learning.

And there was a big gust of wind from the clear blue sky, and it blew leaves and all manner of things toward me; and later I learned that at that moment she was gone.
